Charlene K retailer: Bruce Museum
The Bruce Museum is a regionally based, world-class institution highlighting art, science, and natural history in more than a dozen changing exhibitions annually.
The Museum was originally built as a private home in 1853. Robert Moffat Bruce (1822-1908), a wealthy textile merchant and member of the New York Cotton Exchange, bought the house and property in 1858. In 1908, Robert Bruce bequeathed his home to the Town of Greenwich and stipulated that it be used “as a Natural History, Historical and Art Museum, for the use and benefit of the public.”
The Bruce Museum Store offers a wide selection of unusual gifts, one of a kind jewelry, accessories, fun and educational toys, rocks, minerals, fossils, stationery, exhibition catalogs and a wonderful selection of art books and more that relate to the Museum’s exhibitions and programs.
